Number of followers doesn't justify an attack on one's reputation. Reach is growing, and so is responsibility. Especially for words. Recognition doesn't grant the right to destroy another's reputation.

LAWSTORY was contacted by an influencer whose Instagram profile has over 350,000 followers. The problem? Another user of the same medium – also an influencer, with just under 200,000 followers – was regularly harming her reputation by publishing offensive content and negative comments through various media outlets, damaging her image and reputation.

After analyzing the evidence, we prepared a cease-and-desist order. The action was immediately effective – the infringer ceased all online and media activity, and the case was resolved at the pre-trial stage.

This further confirms that image protection in the digital space is possible – even without the need for legal action. Reach does not grant immunity, and the right response brings results.
